"...I heard about Rubber Side Down Towing via a flier given to my boyfriend at a local Honda shop. My own bike broke down 2 days later, and he still had the flier in his pocket - lucky me! A brand new rider, I was rather frazzled and stressed by the whole experience of my new bike breaking down, finding a shop, and finding someone to tow it asap to get it off the streets of downtown NW Portland. Chris was professional, friendly, and in there in literally 10 minutes. He even called after a successful drop off to confirm (as I was unable to accompany him). His 'rig' was clean, solid, and designed specifically for motorcycles and scooters. He took credit cards - and not the old school take-ten-min-to-write-my-info-down way like some tow truck drivers do - he ran it on his Iphone and emailed me a receipt on the spot. The whole ordeal from my phone call to him having it up in the truck took about 20 min. I don't have much experience w/ motorcycle tows, so I don't know what prices are like, but I felt $50 for such service was quite fair.
